ALLOYK500 is a nickel-copper alloy with age hardenability imparted by the addition of aluminum and titanium. The basic composition is similar to ALLOY400, but the addition of the above elements allows age hardening by controlling time and temperature. The alloy can be delivered in the annealed, stress-equalized, hot-finished, or age-hardened condition. Features of ALLOYK500

• Excellent resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking

• Approximately 2 to 3 times the mechanical properties of the nickel-copper alloy ALLOY400 
• High tensile strength in the temperature range up to approximately 650°C (1200°F) 
• Good resistance to fatigue and corrosion fatigue 
• Low magnetic permeability and non-magnetic properties in the low temperature range down to –135°C (-210°F).
