ALLOY800 HT is a high-strength austenitic nickel-iron-chromium solid solution alloy with adjusted levels of carbon, aluminum, titanium, silicon, and manganese, with an increased amount of (aluminum + titanium). A special solution annealing treatment (grain size ≥ 90 μm/ASTM No. 4) precipitates titanium carbide (TiC), maximizing creep rupture strength at temperatures above 700°C (1290°F). Below 700°C (1290°F), gamma prime (γ´) phase precipitates, causing loss of ductility. 

• Excellent creep strength at temperatures above 700°C (1290°F). However, in applications where temperatures may frequently fall below 700°C (1290°F) or where parts of the material are constantly exposed to temperatures below 700°C (1290°F), ALLOY800 H is recommended. 
• Good resistance to reducing, oxidizing and nitriding atmospheres. It also has high resistance to alternating reducing and oxidizing conditions. 
• Metallurgical stability at high temperatures for long periods of time.
