EN 1.4462 / DUPLEX UNS S31803 / F51 / UNS S32205 / F60

Duplex UNS S31803 / S32205 are the most common duplex grades on the market. These alloys offer excellent resistance to localized corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, combined with high mechanical strength. They are widely used in industries such as oil & gas, hydropower, pressure vessels, pulp and paper, structural components, and chemical tankers. However, they are not intended for use at temperatures above 300°C due to the risk of embrittlement.

Applications : The main applications of UNS S31803 / S32205 are for components with special requirements for high corrosion resistance.
